Mr D's Long Red Cayenne Pepper Non-GMO Heirloom Seeds 2025

MR D's Cayenne Pepper (Capsicum annuum) is a capture from one of my favorite sellers at our local Farmers Market. The brilliant red long straight peppers have seeds running top to bottom. They are crisp and juicy fresh with a spicy but not too hot flavor. I like to chop into 1/4"-1/2" pieces and freeze so I can add to stews, soups and stir fries all winter long. But could also dry and powder, or use for sauces. Mr. D did not remember the name of this pepper and says he's been growing them for decades. He is not a certified organic grower, but most peppers do not require any pesticides. Guess the growth period at 85 days from transplant. Zones 3-8. 10 Seeds.
