Perhaps the most popular perennial for shade, Patriot Hosta flashes green and white providing luscious understory for taller more colorful plants. Patriot is a large variety with showy dark green leaves and pure white margins and lavender flowers. Of interest, you can snip the new shoots and eat them in early Spring. They taste like mild asparagus. Growing 22″ tall x 30″ wide the crown will expand with the years and should be lifted and divided after 3-5 years. Which is what I am doing now. You will receive one healthy division bareroot plant in moist medium. I cannot ship to PO Boxes.
