In the manner of true Pique Assiette, the pieces were broken or hand cut to decorate these new wooden mirrors. This coordinated pair of mirrors features delightful antique Robinson & Jones plates combined with grey/green lustreware from Czechoslovakia - a cup from which set was neatly clipped in half for the bottom focal, and portions of a scalloped plate throughout. Each bears a Robinson & Jones backstamp on the lower right. You could put some greenery in those "cups" to enhance the effect. Each mirror measures 10" x 10" with a central 4" x 4" mirror. Hanging hardware is on back. These look wonderful grouped together or as bookends to a china cabinet or other piece of furniture.
