WHITE BOSTON (Lactuca sativa) is a popular heirloom that dates over 100 years and is a fast producer of fluffy buttery heads of lettuce. A reliable producer, but you will want to sow short frequent rows because it does "blow out" quickly once it hits maturity. Produces delicious 12" head. Sow the seeds as soon as soil can be worked in Spring. And repeat every 2 weeks for a continuous supply until the hot weather comes. But definitely resow for Fall. 55-60 days. 100 Seeds.

Seeds are not treated and are FRESH to the year indicated in the title. Packets are small because we want each gardener to be able to afford a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers.
