MERVEILLE DES QUATRE SAISONS LETTUCE (Marvel of Four Seasons) is a French heirloom described in Vilmorin's "The Vegetable Garden" in 1885. The Italian name for this lettuce is Meraviglia Quatro Stagioni. Beautiful red bibb-type rosette, crispy, excellent flavor. The dark red color develops best in cool spring or autumn weather. The buttery crinkled leaves hold dressing so nicely and they are sweet and satisfying to the palette. Butterhead type. 50-60 days. 100 seeds.
